Based in Thriplow, South of Cambridge

Salary up to £22,000 plus benefits to include gym membership, pension, bonus and 24 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays).

Clarion UK is the UK’s leading provider of interpreting services for Deaf People and we continue to expand our business across all sectors.

  • As a Bookings Coordinator working as part of our Legal Team, you will be responsible for allocating qualified Language Support (typically those with British Sign Language skills) to deaf people in a wide range of situations and circumstances – for example, to a witness in court, probation, police or prison and tribunals.
  • Working as part of the Education team you will be supporting both Deaf students and those with other learning difficulties who require support in higher and further education.

This is a hugely rewarding job because you will be making a real difference to Deaf people in their hour of need and students entering into the world of higher or further education.

There are no specific skills required for the role other than to have a mature and confident telephone manner; an ability to prioritise workload and a willingness to work collaboratively in a highly supportive and social team; and a careful eye for detail so that bookings can be completed efficiently and on time.

This is a Monday to Friday appointment (37.5 hours) with start and finish times to be agreed. You will also be required to assist with our Out of Hours Service on a home-based rota arrangement. It is important that you have your own transport as public transport to this delightful village is very limited.
